Section D: Take approximately 1g each of 1) periventricular
zone adjacent to the head of the caudate nucleus (2-3mm thick),and
2) caudate nucleus from areas shown by lines #7, and #11,
respectively, in top figure. These samples are generally taken
from the first section posterior to the most anterior extent
of the temporal lobe.
