Section C: Take approximately 1g each of 1) hippocampal formation
(shown on above for clarity), 2) centrum semiovale (sparing
gray matter), and 3) cortex (sparing white matter) from the
areas shown by lines #24, #6, and #8, respectively, shown
in top figure. These samples are generally taken from the
third section posterior to the most anterior extent of the
temporal lobe.
